I urge all clients to book as soon as possible as I fill my spaces up well over a year in advance.  It is therefore best to place your order as soon as you have your wedding date booked, particularly for summer weddings.

Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to secure your wedding date and you do not need to know at this point what size, style or colour scheme you want.  Once the Booking Fee is paid you can leave your design until all your other details have been worked out, however, I do try to get all final details worked out at least 4 months in advance.  The remaining balance becomes payable 8 weeks (2 months) prior to the wedding.  Please note that if you wish to cancel your Wedding Cake and order a celebration cake instead you will still lose your Booking Fee.

Please do not leave the booking of your Wedding Cake until you have all of your details as I may already be fully booked by then.

All Booking Fees are required within 10 days of the initial booking if not received at the time of the consultation. If the Booking Fee has not been received within 10 days your date will be released. Cakes will not be released until payment has been received in full (and cleared). Please make cheques payable to "Scrumptious Cakes".

Cutting Cake: If you like the idea of a smaller wedding cake but have a large number of guests then a cutting cake can be provided.  These are 10 inch plainly iced cakes that are kept in the venue kitchen and not seen by your guests.  This cake is sliced along with the other tiers of your cake.

Fresh Flowers: If fresh flowers are required for your cake I will be happy to liaise with your florist.  Please be aware that many flowers are poisonous so they cannot come in contact with your cake.  Your florist will be able to advise you on this.

Sugar Flowers: Considerable notice must be given if you intend to have a lot of sugar flowers on your wedding cake as creating them is a lengthy and intricate process.

Delivery & Set-Up: I deliver Wedding Cakes within a 50 mile radius of my house (Angus, Dundee, Fife & Perthshire).  The first 10 miles are free from my home address and then there is a charge of 50p per mile round trip based upon "The AA" (www.theaa.com) route planner and is available on a first come first serve basis.
